Hanae Jonas is the author of Softly Undercover, winner of the The Journal/Charles B. Wheeler Poetry Prize and recently published by Mad Creek Books.

Hanaeā€™s poems have appeared in Kenyon Review, ZYZZYVA, Poem-a-Day, and elsewhere. Her chapbook, Lowlands, was published by Albion Books in 2022. She received an MFA in poetry from the University of Michigan, and her writing has been supported by fellowships and residencies from the Vermont Studio Center, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Ox-Bow School of Art, Kundiman, Mineral School, and the Stadler Center for Poetry & Literary Arts. She was born in Vermont and lives in Los Angeles.
